  • Meeting to discuss recent events, financial results, industry news, and interaction with administrative agents and company managements
  • Review primary calendar and secondary trading levels
  • Daily portfolio reviews by portfolio management team
  • Credit events (e.g. waivers and amendments) trigger credit approval requests
  • Updates on watch list assets


  • Credit policy requires quarterly issuer reviews prepared by analysts to assess credit risk and exposure
  • Account reviews include financial statement analysis, discussions with sponsors and/ or management, covenant analysis, reviews of industry conditions and reassessment of all risk / credit ratings
  • A formal quarterly portfolio review process involving watch list assets
  • Quarterly and annual borrower meetings
  • Problem loan strategy, exposure, and legal options reassessed


  • Experienced in-house legal team and external resources actively involved in all stages of investment
  • Manages response to potential legal risks, supervises credit documentation, and assists in amendments and restructurings of problem loans
  • Tracks precedent trends and drafts form credit documentation, improving consistency and quality of documentation
  • Monitors compliance with funding facilities and CLO indentures, governmental licensing requirements, applicable law, and internal policies and procedures
